Huge potential moves for Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland this summer could spark a transfer merry-go-round of some of the Premier League’s top strikers.
England’s top marksman has managed to bag himself 14 Premier League goals this season despite Tottenham’s mid-table toils.
He has long been linked with a move to United, while City are also on the lookout for a centre-forward this summer with Sergio Aguero expected to leave.
Kane is yet to win the silverware his goals deserve, and if Spurs’ prospects don’t improve under Jose Mourinho, the 27-year-old may decide he wants to join genuine title contenders.
Given the intense competition in the chase to sign Haaland, Kane is likely to be on the respective radars of both Manchester clubs.
Alexandre Lacazette has been a key player for Arsenal this season, but speculation over his future refuses to go away.
The 29-year-old has been linked with Atletico Madrid, while Juventus are also expected to be in the market for a new striker, and he would be a viable option for both PSG and Dortmund if they were to lose their star men.
Lacazette is Arsenal’s top scorer in the Premier League this season with 11 goals, and the former Lyon forward could certainly still do a job in the Bundesliga, Ligue 1 or Serie A.
With his contract expiring at the end of this next season, this summer would be the time for the Gunners to cash in.
Abraham is Chelsea’s top scorer this season with 12 in all competitions, having been their main source of goals last term when he fired 18.
But Thomas Tuchel has an array of attacking talent to juggle, and hasn’t favoured the 23-year-old in his nine games in charge so far.
If Chelsea were successful in landing Haaland, Abraham would be pushed further down the pecking order and possibly out of Stamford Bridge altogether.
He would certainly be of interest to West Ham, as well as Aston Villa where he spent a season on loan.
Anthony Martial has been inconsistent this season, and he faces increased competition for a place in the Manchester United attack from Edinson Cavani.
If United were able to land Haaland or Kane it would make it very difficult for Martial to earn a place in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side, and he could end up leaving Old Trafford.
Martial would be a good fit for PSG, having played in Ligue 1 with Monaco before joining the Red Devils in 2015.
The Frenchman would also be of interest to Juventus, and has been linked with interest from Inter Milan, who have signed Romelu Lukaku, Alexis Sanchez, Ashley Young and Matteo Darmian from United in recent seasons.
