Jose is coming back to England for his shopping

The Roma boss celebrated winning the first European Conference League this week by immediately putting pressure on his club’s American owners to spend in the summer transfer market.

“Now we need to understand what our owners want to do,” he said. “This season we weren’t strong enough to target the Champions League.” According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Mourinho wants Villa’s Brazilian Douglas Luiz, who is out of contract in a year and would cost around €30m.

Alternatives would be Granit Xhaka from Arsenal or Nemanja Matic, his former Manchester United player who is now out of contract. Roma are also interested in Feyenoord centre-back Marcos Senesi but are set to lose Henrik Mkhitaryan to Inter Milan.

Newcastle want Moussa Diaby

The former PSG winger has enjoyed another strong season at Bayer Leverkusen with his 13 goals and 12 assists helping the German side into the Champions. The 22-year-old is under contract until 2025 and Bayer do not want to sell.

But L’Equipe reports that Diaby is a “priority target” for Newcastle this season and are favourites to sign him ahead of Tottenham and Arsenal. The French sports daily also reports that Manchester City have invited France U19 international Isaak Tourè to visit the club. L’Equipe reckons City want to loan Tourè out to their partner club Troyes.

The Le Havre centre-back, who is under contract till 2023 and has a €5m price tag, is also being pursued by Marseille, Lyon, Eintracht Frankfurt and Wolfsburg.

News on Divock Origi and Sadio Mane

Milan sporting director Paolo Maldini has confirmed to Gazzetta dello Sport that the new Serie A champions are in talks with the Belgian striker who will soon be out of contract at Anfield. “We are talking to Origi and it is going well,” said the Italy legend.

Mane’s future is a big talking point before the Champions League final and Bild reports Bayern Munich want to sign the Senegal star with both Robert Lewandowski and Serge Gnabry leaving this summer.

The Pole, who has one year on his contract, wants to go to Barcelona while Gnabry has asked for €17m a year to renew his deal and his situation is being monitored by Real Madrid. Mundo Deportivo in Spain claims that Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann wants Mane to fit into a flexible attacking formation without Lewandowski

Barcelona could sign three Premier League stars

Mundo Deportivo also reports that Barcelona’s pursuit of Raphina will depend if Ousmane Dembele – who is out of contract – signs a new deal or joins Paris Saint-Germain.

The Spanish paper claims the Brazilian had a €25m release clause if Leeds had been relegated but will now have to negotiate with the Premier League team. The Catalan club also wants Chelsea’s two Spanish full-backs. Cesar Azpilicueta’s contract was automatically extended after 30 games but Mundo Deportivo claims Chelsea will allow him to leave cheaply as a reward for his long service while the West London club want €15m for Marcos Alonso.
