Neymar has confirmed that both he and Kylian Mbappe are now happy at Paris Saint-Germain and want to remain at the football club.
The World Cup winner with France was even tipped as a replacement for either Mohamed Salah or Sadio Mane, with the duo linked with moves to La Liga.
But it seems no such transfer will be taking place anytime soon, with Neymar saying the duo are happy in the French capital.
“Many things have changed,” said the Brazilian forward. “I’m happy at PSG and I want to stay in Paris, I hope Mbappe will do the same.”
Paris Saint-Germain recently parted company with Thomas Tuchel and former Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has now taken the reins.
Neymar and Mbappe are clearly impressed with the new direction the Argentine is looking to take the Ligue 1 champions in.
Mbappe was linked with a move to Liverpool in the summer transfer window, and spoke out about Reds boss Jurgen Klopp at the time.
“Liverpool have been a machine in the Premier League,” said Mbappe. “They have made winning look easy but the truth is that it is never easy.
“Performances like they have been having don’t just happen. To be as ruthless as they have been would come from lots of hard work in training and from having a very good manager.”
