Nuno: Kane is one of the best, naturally the goals will come

Kane is yet to score in the Premier League this season, while he also failed to find the net during the recent international break.

The lack of goals has led to Kane come under scrutiny, particularly after a possible move to Manchester City failed to materialise this summer.

But Nuno has no concerns of the striker’s lack of goals and is not worried about Kane finding his feet again soon.

“It’s normal, it’s normal,” said Nuno, when speaking about the reaction to Kane struggling for goals.

“Harry for sure is used to it, but we are relaxed. We know that Harry is much more than goals when it comes to what he does for the team.

“He’s a fantastic football player, one of the best, and naturally goals will come.”

Tottenham travel to Newcastle on Sunday and Nuno confirmed his South American quarter – Cristian Romero, Davinson Sanchez, Emerson Royal and Giovani Lo Celso – are in contention to play.

“They are travelling now. They will join us tomorrow and then we will see,” he said.

“The report that we have is that they finished the games well. Some of them played 90 minutes, Davinson Sanchez no, but what we are expecting is them to join us and then we will see.”

Nuno also revealed Tottenham have other fitness issues, but he would not confirm which players he was referring to.

“After the international break there are always huge issues that happen,” he said. “We have problems, but I will not say that before the game.”
