Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is hopeful Marcus Rashford can recover to be part of Manchester United’s squad to face West Ham.
Rashford came off with a shoulder injury during United’s 3-1 Champions League defeat at home to Paris St Germain on Wednesday.
Although Rashford did not take part in full training on Friday, United boss Solskjaer said he hopes the forward can be included in his travelling party.
“Marcus has been training this morning, not fully, but he joined in with the group,” said Solskjaer.
“His shoulder stopped him finishing the game, so he’s been getting treatment and hopefully he’ll be part of the squad that travels, we’ll see after training.”
United’s game away to West Ham will be the first time both sides will have played in front of fans since supporters were allowed to return to games, albeit in limited numbers.
Solskjaer said: “It’ll be great playing in front of fans, we’re looking forward to it.
“We won’t have our fans there, but will have to use the energy and thrive off the home fans and try to make them quiet and edgy.
“We’re looking forward to it. It’s great to see fans back in a stadium and hopefully we’ll get them back at Old Trafford soon.”

Rashford scored a first-half equaliser for United against PSG but was replaced in the 74th minute by Paul Pogba, shortly after the Ligue 1 giants restored their lead through Marquinhos.
Meanwhile, United’s only other injury concerns ahead of Saturday’s 5:30PM kick-off are Luke Shaw and Phil Jones.
Left-back Shaw may recover from a thigh injury in time for the trip to the London Stadium, but centre-half Jones is a long-term absentee and is not expected to feature until the new year.
