Oliveira vs Poirier: UFC 269 fight card, UK start time and how to watch

Elsewhere on the card inside the T-Mobile Arena, the domineering Amanda Nunes will finally defend her UFC Women’s Bantamweight Championship against Julianna Peña after the scheduled bout at UFC 265 was called off due to the latter contracting Covid-19.

In the welterweight division, and out-of-form Geoff Neal faces Santiago Ponzinibbio after a flyweight clash between Kai Kara-France and Cody Garbrandt which, in turn, follows a bantamweight fight pitting Raulian Paiva and Sean O’Malley.

It’s the penultimate UFC event of the year and one backed by ten prelim undercard matches, promising to be quite the night of action inside the Octagon.

UFC 269: Oliveira vs Poirier TV channel and live stream

TV channel: The event will be broadcast by BT Sport in the early hours of the morning on Sunday December 11, 2021.

Coverage of the prelims will start at 01.00am with the main card not expected to start until 03.00am.

Live stream: BT Sport subscribers will be able to watch it either on their website or the BT Sport App.

With two clashing styles, it’s going to be fascinating to see how the champion defends against a challenger with such an intense strike rate.

Poirier is in fantastic form heading into this and, while it’s likely to be tight, we’re going for him.
