Premier League final day LIVE! West Ham and Tottenham battle for sixth

West Ham are looking to end a stellar season on a high by beat rivals Tottenham to sixth place and qualifying for Europa League football.

A valiant effort to finish in the top four ended earlier in May but any European football next season must be viewed as a hugely impressive achievement, just a year on from a relegation battle and in the midst of a Premier League season like no other.

Southampton are the visitors today as Hammers fans return to the London Stadium to cheer on a first ever top-six finish in the Premier League, though Spurs are lying in wait for any slip-up.

A point is enough for West Ham, while Tottenham are at Champions League-chasing Leicester needing the Hammers to lose and to beat the FA Cup winners.

Further down the table, a Europa Conference League spot is not out of the question for either Everton or Arsenal.

How to watch

West Ham vs Southampton will be televised on Sky One, with Leicester vs Tottenham on Sky Sports Football.

Sky Sports subscribers will be able to watch both matches online via the website or Sky Go app.

West Ham took a giant step towards the Europa League on Wednesday as they won 3-1 at West Brom, and now need just a point to confirm sixth place – and they may not even need that should results elsewhere fall in their favour.

A 2-1 home defeat to Aston Villa leaves Spurs with it all to do – and Arsenal and Everton both remain in contention for European football, which should make for a thrilling final round of games.

Spurs must beat Champions League-chasing Leicester and hope West Ham slip up to finish fourth, while Everton must beat thrash Man City and hope West Ham get thumped to finish sixth, while just a Spurs draw will see them finish seventh.
