The second international window of the season is done and dusted, so it’s back to Premier League action this weekend.
Table-toppers Everton will test their perfect start to the season with their toughest test: the visit of Premier League champions, and rivals, Liverpool in the Merseyside derby in Saturday’s early kick-off.
After Chelsea host Southampton at 3pm, Arsenal head to Manchester City to continue a bumper Saturday as apprentice Mikel Arteta faces off against mentor Pep Guardiola after an uneven start to the season. Manchester United travel to Newcastle in the late game in desperate need of a win.
Sheffield United and Fulham also need points and kick off Sunday against each other before the latest M23 derby takes place between Crystal Palace and Brighton at Selhurst Park.
Tottenham welcome West Ham to N17 in the third Sunday game, with David Moyes back after a period of self-isolation looking to add to his team’s back-to-back wins in his absence against two of the form players in the league in Heung-min Son and Harry Kane.
Aston Villa close out Sunday looking to build on their remarkable 7-2 win over Liverpool last time out when they visit Leicester City. A double-header on Monday concludes the action as West Brom host Burnley and Wolves travel to Leeds.
