Premier League table: Will Man United go top today?

remier League football returns tonight following a weekend of drama in the FA Cup.

Manchester United’s early-season struggles seem to be a thing of the past, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Red Devils in with a chance of going top of the table this evening.

Liverpool’s poor recent run of form leaves them level on points with United, and Solskjaer’s men will leapfrog their rivals if they draw with or beat Burnley at Turf Moor.

Elsewhere on Tuesday, struggling Sheffield United host Newcastle and Everton travel to Wolves.

In a truncated gameweek with not every side in action, Wednesday offers two more games as Tottenham take on London rivals Fulham in a hastily revised fixture, while Manchester City welcome Brighton – and Arsenal take on Crystal Palace on Thursday night to round off the action before another full gameweek this weekend.
