Daizen Maeda, Kyogo Furuhashi and Callum McGregor all chipped in to fire Celtic to victory and snatch the bragging rights in Glasgow.

Rangers fans were unable to attend the fixture due to ongoing issues around fan safety at the famous Glasgow clashes.

But after the game, a few of supporters were filmed confronting manager Clement outside Ibrox.

In a video posted on TikTok, the Belgian manager is seen stood amongst a number of Gers fans.

Although most of the conversation is hard to make out, it’s clear the supporters in attendance were far from impressed with their side’s showing.

One fan is heard saying: “Poorest Rangers team for many years.”

The manager is then seen being led away by security.

The Hoops are already five points ahead of the Gers in this season’s race for the title.

That’s despite them being just four games in.

Rangers currently sit in fourth, behind leaders Celtic, Aberdeen and Dundee United.

Speaking to Sky Sports after the game, Clement referred to Celtic’s superior spending powers.

“We know we are at the start of something,” he said. “16 players left the club. We have a lot of new guys, a lot of young guys.

“Look also at the age difference between the starting XI of Celtic and ours. So we know we have a lot of things to work on but we also see the potential that is there.

“In the first ten minutes we saw that, more in the second half. We need to continue working on that in the next weeks and months to be better in January to take the win there.

“Celtic played today also with a team that’s been together for more than one year together. Some guys for two, three, four years. It’s normal they have more automaticity.

“Also when they bring the new ones in that they paid a lot of money for, it’s not the same, even now. So we know we have a way to go but we’re going to work hard on that.”
