Drake will have huge amounts of money at stake as the Los Angeles Rams take on the Cincinnati Bengals in Super Bowl LVI at SoFi Stadium with around £1million placed across three bets
Canadian rapper Drake is a huge American football fan – and he’s put his money where his mouth is ahead of the Super Bowl.
He has wagered around £1million in Bitcoin on a trio of bets – backing the Los Angeles Rams to win and Odell Beckham Jr to deliver a big performance.
Drake shared images of his bet on Instagram and stated: “All bets are in on the family,” in reference to his friendship with Beckham Jr.
Beckham Jr responded by commenting “it’s time” as he looks to deliver for both the Rams and Drake on the biggest stage.

He then also placed a bet of the same amount on Beckham to score a touchdown at anytime, and the same again on Beckham having over 62.5 receiving yards.
The total pay-out could reach C$2.9 million, according to the valuation of Bitcoin by online betting app Stake when he placed his bets.
Beckham Jr was asked about Drake’s bets in the run-up to the game and replied: “Man, I’ve got to come through for him.
“I’ve got to come through for him,” Beckham repeated, “but ultimately, bro, I just want to be able to hold that trophy up, look your brothers in the eyes like, ‘Man, we did it.’ And just feel that joy.
“Honestly, I feel like if I play my game, I catch everything that comes my way, I make the plays, I stay locked in, one play at a time, all of those things are very possible.”
Beckham Jr is also in line for a big financial boost if he helps the Rams to victory.
The wide receiver, who signed earlier this season after being released by the Cleveland Browns, signed a one-year deal with $3million worth of incentives related to play-off success.
He will get another $500,000 if the Rams lose the Super Bowl and $1 million if they win, as long as he participates in at least one offensive play.
