Rating and slating Liverpool’s players as Reds drop two points in West Brom draw

Semi Ajayi’s late header denied Liverpool and handed West Brom what could be a valuable point.

The Reds were dominant in the first-half and went ahead through Sadio Mane’s excellent finish.

They were unable to hammer home their advantage though despite their wealth of possession. and the Baggies came out reborn in the second-half.

West Brom binned their ultra defensive style and began to express themselves, posing a genuine threat on the counter.

Sam Allardyce’s outfit had threatened to upset the natural order and Jurgen Klopp’s frustrations were increasing as he counts the costs of injuries yet again with Joel Matip hobbling off.

Mane had opened the scoring at Anfield

Alisson denied the visitors once but couldn’t do so a second time as Ajayi, the West Brom hero at Man City, again came up with the goods from a corner ten minutes before full-time.

Good on the ball, and stepped out of defence well to take ball into midfield

Lively from the start and looked Liverpool’s most likely source of chances
