Real Madrid missed out on signing Kylian Mbappe from PSG in the transfer window, but the Spanish giants are preparing a masterplan for next summer
Real Madrid have reportedly conjured up a masterplan which would see them bring Paul Pogba, Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland to the club next summer.
All three stars face uncertain futures at their respective clubs and have been tipped to move on next summer.
The Spanish giants have already made multiple unsuccessful bids to sign Mbappe from PSG and Sky Sports reported on deadline day that Los Blancos will sign the Frenchman on a pre-contract agreement in January.
Los Blancos made an offer that exceeded €220million (£189m), which would have broken the world record fee for a player.
Mbappe’s contract is up next summer meaning Real Madrid will be able to sign the 22-year-old on a free transfer.
Manchester United ’s Paul Pogba is also in the final year of his current deal and could also depart Old Trafford when his contract is up.
Pogba has had a successful start to the new season under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, registering five assists in the first three league games.
“To be honest, I am very happy, I enjoy myself. The Premier League is back, I play football again after a nice holiday, so it is very, very good,” Pogba told TV2.
“When you get to a final and lose, it is always very painful. Now we are hungry to do better than last season and we want to win a trophy.
“I’m happy. To be honest, I’m glad I’m feeling good. I’m healthy, I have no injuries and I’m happy, even if I would have preferred to win the last game [against Southampton ]. It’s all about winning.”
However, Spanish outlet Marca have reported that the France international is also a reported target for Real Madrid next summer.
And Pogba has previously made it no secret that it is his desire to play for Real Madrid, should he be presented with the chance one day.
“Like I’ve always said, Real Madrid is a dream for anyone. It’s one of the biggest clubs in the world,” the 28-year-old said at a press conference while on international duty in 2019.
But the French duo are not the only stars Los Blancos are chasing ahead of the start of next season.
The same outlet have said that Haaland could be set to join Mbappe and Pogba as the third Galatico to move to the Bernabeu.
A whole host of European football’s biggest names had been linked with a move to sign the Borussia Dortmund forward this summer, but the striker opted to remain in Germany for another season.
Haaland, 21, is expected to leave Dortmund next summer when his £64million release clause comes into play.
The Norwegian forward could be a potential long-term replacement for the ageing Karim Benzema – who turns 34 in December.
