Pep Guardiola‘s side have won 14 games in a row in all competitions and currently sit five points clear at the top of the Premier League, with a game in hand over second-placed Manchester United.
Already through to the final of the Carabao Cup, City will be looking to continue their quest for domestic glory on a third front with a visit to the Liberty Stadium, to face a Swansea side who are themselves going well, currently just two points off the top of the Championship.
The two sides met in a thrilling quarter-final tie two years ago, when City came from 2-0 down to triumph 3-2 thanks to an 88th-minute winner from Sergio Aguero.
Date, kick-off time and venue
Swansea vs Man City is scheduled for a 5:30pm kick-off on Wednesday, February 10, 2021.
The game will be played behind closed doors at the Liberty Stadium because of current coronavirus restrictions.
TV channel: The match will be broadcast live on BT Sport 1 and BT Sport Ultimate.
Live stream: Subscribers can stream the match live via the BT Sport website and app.
Manchester City remain without Sergio Aguero but the Argentine has resumed training with his teammates after a period of Covid isolation delayed his latest injury comeback.
Guardiola has no fresh injury concerns following the win over Liverpool at Anfield, but is likely to rotate his side. Aymeric Laporte, Benjamin Mendy, Ferran Torrres and Gabriel Jesus are among those who started on the bench for that game and could all come in.
Swansea vs Man City prediction: 3-0 away win
No team in the country is as well equipped to rotate as Manchester City, and even if Guardiola were to make 11 changes to his side he would no doubt still be fielding a fearsome outfit.
Swansea are in fine form themselves but ultimately have bigger fish to fry in the Championship.
