Saka has quickly become an integral member of Arteta’s squad, turning in plenty of impressive performances despite Arsenal’s struggles this season.
The England international has five Premier League goals and two assists this season, marking him out as one of the top young talents in the division – and he was on form against as the Gunners beat Leeds United 4-2 at the Emirates on Sunday.
Arteta has been full of praise for Saka this term, but it speaks to how highly the Arsenal coach rates the player that he feels the attacker has the potential to take his game to new heights.
Following Sunday’s win, Arteta said of Saka: “He’s playing really well. He can still get much better.
“He’s got that room, he’s got the intelligence and he’s got the desire so his aim has to be to do better, to score more goals, be more efficient in the final third and there’s a lot of things he needs to do better defensively as well to improve day by day, because he’s got the ability.”
