Team GB have enjoyed their best start to an Olympics in modern history.
The goldrush in Tokyo continued on Tuesday as Tom Dean claimed a sensational gold and Duncan Scott silver to ensure a British one-two in the men’s 200m freestyle.
It was the first time since 1908 that two male British swimmers have finished on the Olympic podium together, and there was more history later in the day as GB women won their first women’s team gymnastics medal since 1928.
Alice Kinsella, Amelie Morgan and twin sisters Jennifer and Jessica Gadirova produced a sensational performance to take bronze.
In total, Team GB won six medals on day four and they are eyeing more success on day five.
After moving alongside Katherine Grainger as Britain’s most decorated female Olympian by claiming team dressage bronze on Tuesday, Charlotte Dujardin will bid to become the only British woman to claim gold at three Olympics in Wednesday’s individual final.
Geraint Thomas is a medal hope in the men’s time trial as road cycling returns, but much will depend on how he recovers from the crash that he and Tao Geoghegan Hart went down in during Saturday’s road race.
There should also be plenty of entertainment when the 3×3 basketball concludes on what will be another busy day in Tokyo.

‘I’m dealing with things internally’
There was huge drama in the women’s team final earlier when superstar Simone Biles withdrew after the vault.
She tells the BBC cameras: “I’m ok, just dealing with things internally.
“That will get fixed in the next few days. I’m super proud of the team.”

Germany are still to come and are expected to take gold.
Charlotte Dujardin smiles and pats Gio on the head but the commentators are concerned. To the judges we go.
Dujardin and horse Gio have been marked down for one element of their performance there. Silver could be under threat.
Charlotte Dujardin has three Olympic golds and a silver already to her name. What colour will this be?
And now GB go for a medal in the team dressage.
It’s all on Charlotte Dujardin. GB have been in silver medal position all day with only Germany – in first – still to come.
