Tottenham confident Kane will be fit to face Arsenal

Kane missed training on Wednesday, and did not travel to Austria for today’s 3-3 draw with LASK, due to an unspecified injury.

In his absence, Gareth Bale, Heung-min Son and Dele Alli scored as Spurs confirmed their place in the Europa League knockout stages despite conceding a late equaliser.

Mourinho, though, was able to provide a positive update on the club’s top goalscorer ahead of the north London derby.

The 57-year-old added: “I believe he’s going to be fit. I’m not sure, he’s on treatment.

“But I could be now doing some bluff or trying to pretend that he’s in big trouble. He’s not in big trouble. I believe he’s going to play.”

Kane has scored seven goals and contributed nine assists in the opening 10 games of the season as Spurs sit top of the Premier League standings before welcoming their rivals to N17.
