Tottenham XI vs Brighton: Bale, Alderweireld start; Aurier dropped


areth Bale makes only his second Premier League start since returning to Tottenham against Brighton.

Mourinho has called on Bale to step up in the absence of injured talisman Harry Kane and the Welshman comes in on the right of the front three at the Amex, with Heung-min Son moving up front.

Serge Aurier is dropped from the squad after storming out of the stadium after being replaced at half-time against Liverpool, while Eric Dier has been dropped for his poor display on Thursday.

Toby Alderweireld returns to the team and it looks like a back three for Spurs, with Mousa Sissoko and Ben Davies as wing-backs.

Kane is expected to be sidelined for “a few weeks” due to ankle damage sustained against Liverpool. Sergio Reguilon is out with three weeks with a hamstring problem.
