Chelsea and Liverpool in for Sancho?
That’s the latest, according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano.
“I think he’s moving next summer,” the Sky Italy journalist told Que Golazo Podcast. “Yes, as we said, it’s so difficult in January, we’ve said that so many times about Jadon Sancho, because Borussia Dortmund are not huge to sell their players in the middle of a season, of a complicated season as they are having, so they need their stars to be back at a top level, and they don’t want to sell Jadon Sancho in January.
“But next summer I expect Jadon Sancho to leave the club. Yes, he was really one step away from leaving Borussia Dortmund this summer, Manchester United were really close to signing him for €100m, but then Borussia Dortmund changed their plans, but Manchester United had the agreement with the player and his agents, so everything was ready, and then the deal collapsed at the last stages.
“That’s why I say next summer, I expect Jadon Sancho to leave the club and be back in the Premier League. We have to understand if Manchester United will arrive with €120m (£109m), if they will be ready this time to sign the player or if they’ll take the risk of other clubs joining the race.
“I will say like Liverpool, Chelsea, and a lot of clubs are scouting the situation of Jadon Sancho, so at this point the race is open.”
Spurs interest confirmed
RB Leipzig have confirmed Tottenham’s interest in Marcel Sabitzer.
Standard Sport understands that the midfielder is among Jose Mourinho’s key targets for the January transfer window, though a move could hinge on Dele Alli’s future.
The 26-year-old has just 18 months left on his contract and Leipzig sporting director Markus Krosche says talks over an extension will not begin until after the transfer window.
“We wanted to end the year first, both sides will deal more intensively with the topic in the spring,” he told Bild (via Sport Witness).
When asked specifically about Tottenham’s interest, Krosche continued: “As I said, he has made a great development. It goes without saying that other clubs also notice this.”
Suarez cancels Atleti contract
Atletico Madrid have agreed to rescind striker Diego Costa’s contract, the La Liga leaders said on Tuesday.

Tottenham’s Dele Alli replacement?
Tottenham are looking at Weston McKennie as a replacement for Dele Alli, reports Calcio Mercato.
The American is currently trying to earn a permanent move to Juventus after joining on loan from Schalke. The Old Lady able to pay €18.5m after coughing up €4.5m for the initial agreement.
But his performances have attracted the likes of Tottenham, with Chelsea and Manchester United also reportedly keen.
Sancho AND Grealish to United?
Louis Saha has tipped both Jadon Sancho and Jack Grealish to join Manchester United.
“It’s unfortunate Man United couldn’t get deals in place for Jack Grealish and Jadon Sancho last summer because they are two amazing players,” Saha told Ladbrokes.
“I know less about Grealish but I think he would have fitted perfectly into this team. But for me, I’m sorry, Sancho is just such an unbelievable player. He’s unpredictable, he’s such a great talent and if he was playing for United with Bruno Fernandes, you just know as a striker you’re going to score goals because of the two of those.
“Man United did miss out on the two of them in the summer, but hopefully they’ll have another chance to sign them soon. My choice of the two would be Sancho over Grealish. Both are amazing players and they’d improve any side. They’re so confident and would be really useful for Man United’s strikers.
“Fernandes has done a great job in helping United since arriving earlier this year, so could you imagine what another player of his level would do to the team?”
ICYMI: Tottenham keeping tabs on Ramos
Tottenham correspondent Dan Kilpatrick this week reported that Jose Mourinho is keeping an eye of Sergio Ramos’ situation at Real Madrid, with the veteran out of contract in the summer, while they could renew their interest in Milan Skriniar of Inter Milan.
Chelsea line up Tuchel
Talking of Thomas Tuchel, he is Chelsea’s first choice to replace Frank Lampard at Chelsea, according to Bild in Germany.
The Blues have lost three of their last five and were again blunted by Aston Villa last night, meaning Chelsea will find themselves in ninth should results go against them.
Bild claim that the form of German imports Timo Werner and Kai Havertz – signed for a combined £120m – is the biggest concern and Tuchel is keen as perfect to get performances out of his fellow countrymen.
PSG confirm Tuchel sacking
Is Mauricio Pochettino’s appointment imminent?
A statement read: “After an in-depth analysis of its sporting situation, Paris Saint-Germain decided to terminate Thomas Tuchel’s contract.”
“I would like to thank Thomas Tuchel and his staff for everything they brought to the Club,” said club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.
“Thomas has put a lot of energy and passion into his work, and of course we will remember the good times we shared together. I wish him the best for his future.”
Jordan another Arteta target
Arsenal are also looking at Sevilla midfielder Joan Jordan, reports The Sun.
The 26-year-old’s is a combative midfielder and has been identified by Mikel Arteta as the answer to his team’s weak centre.
Sevilla are looking for a club to trigger Jordan’s £55million buy-out clause, but the player is expected to be available for closer to £32m.
And that is a price Arsenal will be willing to pay to fire up their floundering campaign and start giving Arteta and his side the “identity” they crave.
