The future of Tottenham star Dele Alli has been one of the big talking points all month, with former Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino keen for a reunion at PSG. Jose Mourinho has been reluctant to let him go, but could back-to-back defeats see a step up in pursuit of a replacement?
Liverpool, meanwhile, already looked short on centre-backs at the start of the month and Joel Matip’s injury has only heightened their need, with a surprise move for Preston’s Ben Davies on the cards.
Arsenal look to have done their business in terms of arrivals, with Mat Ryan and Martin Odegaard coming in on loan, but the future of Ainsley Maitland-Niles is still to be determined, with Southampton seemingly leading the race for the England international.
Elsewhere, West Ham completed the signing of Manchester United star Jesse Lingard on loan but still need a striker.

Eriksen to Tottenham
Tottenham letting Dele Alli leaves appears to hinge on interest in bringing Christian Eriksen back to the club on loan.
Well, that also doesn’t look likely, as Inter chief executive Giuseppe Marotta explains.
“As Antonio Conte said, if there are some players who are unhappy and want to find other clubs, it’s not right to withhold them,” Marotta told DAZN.
“We do not have any of those situations. Therefore, this is the squad we will have at our disposal until the end of the season.
“When you’re in a big club, there are no starting players or deputies. There are just professionals who must answer to the coach and his decisions. A player can play less than one of his team-mates but still manage to be more influential.
“Over the course of the campaign, Eriksen too can have an important role in the team, whether he plays more or less.”
Dele Alli latest
Let’s start with Spurs.
Dele Alli has been linked with a move to PSG all window but Jose Mourinho is less positive on a possible Deadline Day move.
Asked for an update on Alli’s future after Tottenham lost 1-0 at Brighton on Sunday, Mourinho said: “I never had an update to give. I always told that I did not have any indication that he was leaving.
“So for me there is no update to give.”
Asked if there is a likelihood of any other activity at Tottenham before the deadline, Mourinho said: “I do not think so.
“Of course during the day I am disconnected from everything apart from the game but I don’t think so.”
So when do clubs have until to finalise their business? All times GMT.
Deadline Day is here!
It’s been a quiet month so far, but you can never rule out some last-minute surprises.
Pellistri leaves Man Utd on loan
Manchester United have confirmed that Facundo Pellistri has joined LaLiga club Alaves on loan for the rest of the season. That will give the 19-year-old Uruguay winger a chance to adapt to European football, but with the added benefit of also speaking in his native tongue.
Champions eye Botman deal
Another player who could be on his way to Anfield is Sven Botman. The 21-year-old defender only joined Lille from Ajax last summer for £7m, and his value should theoretically be far higher now. However, the collapse of the French TV rights deal has put Ligue 1 clubs in real trouble, and Lille may well contemplate a sale now in order to guarantee some much-needed capital.
Romain Saiss to Liverpool?
With Jurgen Klopp badly in need of a centre-back, Standard Sport understands Arsenal’s Shkodran Mustafi is a target for the champions. Meanwhile, Romain Saiss was absent from Wolves’ squad this weekend – and with the 30-year-old’s contract up this summer, there is speculation that Liverpool could move early to sign him before the deadline.
Sergio Ramos to Man United… finally?
Sergio Ramos has flirted with Manchester United for years, primarily to strengthen his negotiating position with Real Madrid before always signing a new deal with Los Blancos – but could it finally be time for him to leave?
The Mirror reports that Ramos – whose contract is up this summer – is not keen on a move to PSG, with Old Trafford though to be his first-choice destination. However, a reunion with Carlo Ancelotti at Everton could also be a possibility given the Toffees’ cash reserves.

Liverpool interested in Mustafi
Liverpool are interested in Arsenal defender Shkodran Mustafi as they look to sign a centre-back before Monday’s transfer deadline, writes Simon Collings.
Mustafi is understood to be one option under consideration, with the German into the final six months of his contract at Arsenal.
No contact has been made with the Gunners yet, with Liverpool looking at a number of players before Monday’s deadline.
The 28-year-old has been attracting interest from other clubs, namely Lazio in Italy, but nothing concrete has emerged.
Mustafi has not played for Arsenal since Boxing Day and has only made three Premier League appearances this season.
