Cristiano Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes really got the ball rolling on Thursday after flying into Turin to thrash out a transfer away from Juventus for his client.
Following a chat with Pep Guardiola, Ronaldo has now reportedly agreed on terms with Manchester City.
The Citizens are hoping to pay as little as possible for the Portuguese and have reportedly offered Raheem Sterling in a swap deal.
Juventus would rather take Gabriel Jesus to Italy, or make around £25million for Ronaldo, than sign Sterling.
Ronaldo is set to make £500,000 per week when he signs for City, which would make him the club’s top earner by some margain.
Elsewhere, and not to be outdone, Real Madrid have made a second bid for Kylian Mbappe.
Real’s first of £140million was quickly rejected by PSG, but Los Blancos have come back with an improved offer of £145million.
