The Harry Kane saga rumbles on with the striker hoping Manchester City step up their bid to sign him this week. Kane rejoined the first-team squad for training for the first time this season, but reports suggest the striker is furious with Daniel Levy for prevent a +100m move to the champions.
In one of the biggest stories of the summer transfer window, Lionel Messi been officially unveiled as a PSG player after Barcelona were unable to afford a new contract. There is also mounting speculation that Paul Pogba could be headed to join him – but one megastar who won’t be on the move, it seems, is Cristiano Ronaldo – Carlo Ancelotti has ruled out a Real Madrid return for the Juventus star.
In another huge deal, Chelsea have re-signed Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milan for £97.5m and will officially unveil him today – so stay tuned for the press conference. As for Manchester United, they unveiled Raphael Varane before Saturday’s 5-1 rout of Leeds, while £73m Jadon Sancho made his debut off the bench. Next on their list could be Erling Haaland, but they may have to wait until next summer to sign the Dortmund sensation.
Arsenal have made one big move in £50m Ben White, and want another in the former of Martin Odegaard, with an agreement for the Real Madrid playmaker close. They continue to be linked with Sheffield United goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale as well as Inter Milan frontman Lautaro Martinez, though Manuel Locatelli is heading to Juventus.
Liverpool, meanwhile, have been offered Barcelona’s Ilaix Moriba as they also eye Atletico Madrid stalwart Saul Niguez, while Tottenham are being linked with Pau Torres and Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic as well as Serbian striker Dusan Vlahovic and Cagliari’s Nahitan Nandez, while new reports say they are rivalling West Ham for Chelsea’s Kurt Zouma.

Batshuayi loaned out again
Michy Batshuayi has extended his Chelsea contract until 2023 and joined Besiktas on loan for the season.
He spent part of last season on loan at Crystal Palace, and enjoyed previous spells with Valencia and Dortmund.

Don’t bank on us selling Haaland next summer, says Dortmund boss Rose
It is not a given that Erling Haaland will leave Borussia Dortmund next summer, insists coach Marco Rose, especially if the club win silverware this season.
The 21-year-old Norway striker, a Chelsea target in this window before they signed Romelu Lukaku, is under contract until 2024 but a £65m release clause next summer will reignite interest from Europe’s top clubs.
Rose told Sport Bild: “He still has a long-term contract with us. Just because the public is constantly talking about him leaving BVB next summer, that doesn’t necessarily have to be the case.
“In the end, Erling has to decide for himself where he sees his future. In any case, we are happy that he is currently playing for us – and, who knows, possibly it’ll be even more than just one season if we write an extraordinary story.”
Debuts for Spurs?
New Tottenham signings Pierluigi Gollini, Cristian Romero and Bryan Gil are all on their way to Portugal this morning, raising the possibility that the trio could make their full debuts in tomorrow night’s Europa Conference League clash with Pacos de Ferreira
Ryan Sessegnon is also in line to make his first Spurs appearance for over a year but fellow youngster Oliver Skipp has stayed at home following his impressive performance against Manchester City on Sunday.
Palace still want two signings, and will wait to give OIise debut
Crystal Palace are still looking at signing two players in this window with Watford’s Will Hughes and Celtic’s Odsonne Edouard among their targets.
But one who has already joined, Michael Olise, is set to make his debut after the international break next month.
Midfielder Olise moved from Reading for £8million last month and Palace boss Patrick Vieira is wary of throwing the 19-year-old into Premier League action too quickly.
Vieira’s predecessor Roy Hodgson was just as cautious with the use of Eberechi Eze at the start of last season after the midfielder joined from QPR and it paid off.
Coutinho staying put
One man whose name is always there or thereabouts every transfer window is Philippe Coutinho.
He has been linked with moves to the Premier League in recent windows, and again this time around, but reports in Spain claim he will be staying put this summer.

Italy midfielder Manuel Locatelli got a nice surprise as he arrived for his medical with Juventus today, with fans coming out to hail their £30m signing from Sassuolo.

Houssem Aouar could leave Lyon for a further-reduced price as the club look to resolve dressing room problems, reports RMC.
Arsenal and Tottenham have both been linked, with the player previously available for around £25m.
