UFC fan favourite and Liverpool supporter Paddy Pimblett i s often a regular presence at Anfield when he is not gearing up for another bout – but was booted out of Vicarage Road on Saturday afternoon during the Reds win over Watford.

Ranting on his Instagram story, Pimblett can be seen walking the streets of Watford having been forced to leave both the ground and a nearby pub while explaining the reasons behind his departure.

“Been kicked out of the match for celebrating. Now we’ve been kicked out of the boozer by stewards because it’s a home boozer,” Pimblett bemoaned.

The fighter went on to disclaim that he remains a big fan of Hornets shot-stopper Ben Foster – but did issue the hammer blow of publicly wishing relegation on the newly-promoted outfit: “Watford, Ben Foster I love you lad, but I hope Watford go down, yous are horrible.”

Shortly after uploading the first clip, Pimblett posted a video of him dealing with the Watford stewards inside Vicarage Road.

The clip shows the UFC star arguing with stewards before being escorted out.

Pimblett explained in the caption accompanying the video: “Vicarage Road stewards on a power trip kicking us out for celebrating WOW!

“Cannot believe the audacity of these stewards singling us out when multiple ppl celebrated around us an escorted us out the stadium @watfordfcofficial do something about ur stewards.”

Pimblett was grilled by a fan on Twitter as to why he had a ticket in the home end in the first place and why he went to a pub for home fans, to which he replied: “Ben foster gave me the tickets fella I didn’t get to pick where I sat and the pub had nobody in it as the game was still on u sausage.”

To add insult to injury, the Liverpool fan was then kicked out of a pub as it was a designated home supporters outlet.

Pimblett missed Mohamed Salah’s wondergoal – Liverpool’s fourth, the Egyptian notching arguably the best strike of his career.

The 29-year-old forward was humble after the game, explaining to BT Sport: “All goals were very important.

“Bobby [Firmino] did a great job today scored a hat-trick, congratulations to him, Sadio scored a good goal, all the goals were very important.”

Salah’s mercurial solo effort came just one game after a similar strike against title rivals Man City – but he is unsure as to which was better.

“I don’t know which one was better, this one or City!

“Every time I’m in the box I try to give someone the ball to score or to score myself so it’s always about the team.

“The most important thing today is we scored good goals, everyone up front scored. Hopefully we can carry on like that.”
