Versatile Lokonga reveals best position after completing Arsenal move

ew Arsenal signing Albert Sambi Lokonga has outlined his versatility and revealed his consensus best position after joining from Anderlecht.
Arsenal are understood to view Lokonga as a player with huge future potential who is also capable of making an impact straightaway after getting plenty of senior experience under his belt during more than a decade at Anderlecht, where he rose through the youth system before making his first-team debut as a teenager back in 2017 and going on to wear the captain’s armband.
Lokonga’s versatility should be a big asset to Arteta, with the former Belgium Under-21 international able to operate in front of the back four or as more of a roving, box-to-box midfielder.
But in which posistion does he feel the most comfortable?
“I can play both,” Lokonga told Arsenal’s official website.
“I can play as a six and I can play like a box to box, but people say that I’m better in the six position.”
