Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has enjoyed an impressive start to his time at Stamford Bridge, leading the Blues to Champions League glory, a fourth-placed finish in the Premier League and the FA Cup final.
Tuchel has now been tasked with building on that initial success for his first full season in charge and the former Paris Saint-Germain and Borussia Dortmund boss has admitted that he would like to bring in “two or three” new signings.
Speaking last month, Tuchel said: “Two or three could be very, very good. It’s a constant thing to never deny change.
“That you always bring new energy, new guys who question the old beliefs, who challenge everybody in the training and in matches, so I think it’s a good thing.
“We don’t need another seven and another complete turnover because it’s also our job to keep on improving, because we have still a young squad and it’s not about stealing from them the chance to prove it again that they are capable of growing and evolving.
“But we have some ideas, of course, to make the group stronger and I think this can always be a positive thing to challenge all of us.”

Villa eye £40m swoop for Abraham
Tammy Abraham is expected to leave Chelsea this summer and Mirror Football understands that Aston Villa are preparing a £40m bid for the forward.
Abraham starred on loan at Villa two seasons ago, helping them earn promotion from the Championship after netting 25 league goals.
The 23-year-old has been informed that he does not have a place in Tuchel’s long-term plans and Chelsea are expecting to receive an official offer from Villa imminently.

Gilmour urged to make Norwich loan move
Chelsea youngster Billy Gilmour is expected to leave the club on loan this summer and Norwich City are said to be the frontrunners for his services.
The Canaries won promotion to the Premier League last season and midfielder Kenny McLean, Gilmour’s team-mate at international level with Scotland, believes the 20-year-old would be a perfect fit at Carrow Road.
“I wouldn’t mind seeing Billy at Norwich,” he told the Daily Record. “We had Oliver Skipp on loan from Spurs last season and he was outstanding for us.
“Billy would fit into our style of play, the way we try to build from the back. That suits him perfectly and getting a full season in the Premier League would benefit him.
“I’m sure he could stay at Chelsea and get minutes. But if he comes to us for a season in a good team playing in the way he wants – it’s a no-brainer.
“I don’t know where it’s at but I’ll speak to him at some stage. I definitely think it would suit both parties if it happens.”
Daka confirms Leicester switch
Chelsea are in the market for a new striker this summer and one of the names they have been linked with is Patson Daka.
The forward has impressed at Red Bull Salzburg, netting 34 goals in 42 appearances in all competitions last season.
However, Daka is set to join Leicester City instead, telling Austrian outlet Krone Zeitung: “I will go to England and move to Leicester City.
“I had a great time here, Salzburg has become my second home. I will always be happy to come back here, but the Premier League has always been my big dream.”
