Vitesse vs Tottenham LIVE! Europa Conference League

Nuno Espirito Santo will give a chance for his fringe players to impress as Tottenham travel to the Netherlands for a Europa Conference League clash with Vitesse Arnhem.

The top of Group G is tightly-packed ahead of the evening kick-off with the Dutch team third on three points, behind Spurs and Rennes on four. In tonight’s other game, Rennes travel to bottom side Mura.

Tottenham’s 5-1 win over the minnows in their last Conference League outing has sparked a three-game winning streak, although they did not have it all their own way against Aston Villa and Newcastle.

All 11 players who started the victory on Tyneside are being rested tonight, meaning it will be a youthful Tottenham XI keen to impress.

However, the Dutch club have claimed three wins on the bounce in the Eredivisie and could prove to be formidable opponents at the GelreDome.

With kick-off at 5.45pm, follow the action with Dan Kilpatrick in Arnhem!

Evening Standard score prediction

Vitesse cannot be taken lightly and, with Nuno set to make 11 changes from the team that beat Newcastle, it is hard to know what to expect from Tottenham. This has the potential to be an uncomfortable night.

Tottenham Team News

Spurs will be without the 10 outfield players who started Sunday’s win at Newcastle who, likely along with goalkeeper Hugo Lloris, remain in London.

With Ryan Sessegnon and Matt Doherty sidelined through injury, most of Nuno’s team therefore picks itself.

The only big question for the head coach is whether to hand another start to Dane Scarlett after 17-year-old forward struggled to make an impression in his first three appearances in the competition.

Steven Bergwijn will start for Spurs for the first time since the win over Watford in August after recovering from injury.
