Antonio missed Tuesday’s 1-0 FA Cup defeat against Manchester United because he is suffering from fatigue but Moyes is hopeful the forward will return next Monday.
Asked if Antonio will be fit to face Sheffield United at the London Stadium, Moyes said: “I hope so. I do not think it is too bad. I will have to wait and see. Obviously he is a concern if he did not play tonight. We will see how he gets on in the next few days.”
West Ham face an anxious wait to discover the extent of injuries to Angelo Ogbonna and Andriy Yarmolenko after they were forced off against Manchester United.
Ogbonna twisted his ankle and Yarmolenko has a suspected knee ligament injury. Both players will be assessed on Wednesday.
Moyes said: “Ogbonna had an ankle injury and Yarmolenko looks like he has opened up his knee ligaments a little bit, so we will need to see how they are.
“We will assess them tomorrow. Hopefully they will not be too bad. We have seen a little rise in injuries in the last few weeks.”
Ogbonna has been one of West Ham’s best players this season and Moyes admits it would be a blow if the Italian defender faces a spell out.
Moyes said: “Angelo would be a miss because he has played very well for us. He has been a player who has been in the team every game really and is really important to us.”
