West Ham player ratings: Lingard stars again against Wolves

Here is how Jack Rosser rated the Hammers…

Could have done better for Fabio Silva’s goal but made a couple of handy stops.

Drove the Hammers forward well down the right in the first half, little he could have done to stop Traore for the first Wolves goal.

Not his finest display. Booked inside five minutes and gave Wolves plenty of chances. Angelo Ogbonna is a big miss.

Should have covered for Cresswell for Silva’s goal but another decent showing.

Caught out of position for the second Wolves goal but kept heads cool across a nervy final 20 minutes.

Caught upfield a couple of times but a fine return after so long out following surgery. Nice assist for Fornals too.

Given a big job in replacing the injured Declan Rice. Did far better than other Premier League outings when played deeper. Very rash challenge in trying to stop Adama Traore for the first Wolves goal.

Had to step up in the absence of Rice. Did just that and popped up everywhere in midfield.

A big player to have back in the side, never stops running and took his finish very well.

Continues to impress since joining on loan in January. Showed so much energy and drive in the first half.

Ran Wolves ragged before being forced off after just half an hour.

Jarrod Bowen 7 (Antonio 36’)

Arrived with a bang and took his goal spectacularly. Ran tirelessly and chased plenty of lost causes to take the pressure off in the second half.

Ben Johnson 6 (Masuaku 67’)

Shored things up after Masuaku was withdrawn.

Said Benrahma n/a (Fornals 78’)
