West Ham player ratings vs Leeds: Benrahma and Soucek star

est Ham came from behind to move to fifth in the Premier League as Angelo Ogbonna’s header sealed all three points at Leeds.

David Moyes’s side were behind early as Mateusz Klich converted from a re-taken penalty after Lukasz Fabianski saved the first but was adjudged to be off his line in doing so.

Tomas Soucek got the Hammers level heading home from a corner before Ogbonna glanced Aaron Cresswell’s free kick home late on.

Here’s how Jack Rosser rated those on show at Elland Road…

Little he could do about giving away the penalty having been let down by the back four, recovered well enough and held everything since.

Never stopped running with more work to do in a back four, got into some great positions down the right and one cross in particular should have been rewarded with a finish.

Looked solid having to switch to a back two rather than being on the right of a three, would have had a goal were it not for a brilliant Illan Meslier save.

Got lucky on a couple of occasions thanks to some poor finishing from Leeds at the back but a fantastic header to seal the win.

More defensive in a four than the missing Arthur Masuaku but dealt with Raphinha and Costa well. Showed he can still do it going forward with a brilliant cross for the winner.

Brilliant set piece delivery to create the winner from the corner, decision making could be better but always a threat.

The Czech must be an absolute nightmare to play against. Never stops running and a constant threat when he gets into the box. No stopping him for the goal.

Fine display in front of the back four, controlled the midfield and made some handy contributions going forward too. Impressive against England rival

Rather quite night but tireless in his running against such an energetic side. Missed a decent chance in the second half.

Very confident first Premier League start. Could have been more accurate with his shooting but made things happen going forward and looked a

Difficult night for the Ivory Coast international. Haller worked hard but wasted good chances and was let down by his touch far too often.
