What is Jack Draper’s world ranking and Grand Slam record?

The British No.1 has reached his first-ever Grand Slam semi-final in New York and set up a clash with world number one Jannik Sinner.

Draper is yet to drop a set in the tournament and has quickly become a contender for glory after dispatching number 10-ranked Alex De Minaur 6-3 7-5 6-2.

The 22-year-old Londonder is the first British man to reach the last four at Flushing Meadows since Andy Murray lifted the title in 2012.

Ahead of his huge match, talkSPORT.com takes a look at where he ranks in the world and what his overall Grand Slam record is…

What is Draper’s world ranking?

Draper is currently ranked 25th in the world – however that will have changed by the time his stunning US Open run comes to an end.

His pre-Grand Slam ranking, which he earned on August 19th, was already the highest he has ever been throughout his career so far.

He will now climb even further regardless of his semi-final result as he is up five spots to No. 20 in the PIF ATP Live Rankings.

Draper could even rise as high as 14th should he beat Sinner to reach the championship match.

His career record now stands at 66 wins and 46 losses and the Briton is now 30-17 for the 2024 season, with one title to his name.

That one title came in June as he won the Stuttgart Open by beating Matteo Berrettini in the final, becoming British No.1 in the process.

One of his best career wins came this year too, as he beat World No.3 Carlos Alcaraz in London at the Queens Club Championship.

He will take on World No.1 Sinner next, and even just a positive performance in the US Open semi-final will no doubt enhance his burgeoning reputation.

And he will be hoping to potentially go on to claim a Grand Slam…

What is his Grand Slam record?

Draper has never won a Grand Slam title.

His best-ever result in a Grand Slam is now this upcoming semi-final at the US Open.

Before this, it was reaching the fourth round at last year’s event in New York that was his best.

At Wimbledon, Draper has never gone past the second round and it’s the same for him in the Australian Open

He achieved those results earlier this year while his last two entries into the French Open have ended in first-round losses.
