Willian could be poised to leave Arsenal after just one year in north London with agent Kia Joorabchian looking to finalise his exit with Emirates chief Edu as Corinthians are linked
Willian’s agent Kia Joorabchian is looking to play his part in securing the Brazilian an Arsenal exit this summer.
The winger only signed for the Gunners 12 months ago but is already being linked with a move away.
Willian struggled to perform in his debut year at the Emirates and his mega-deal has attracted a fair share of criticism.
He would appear beneficial for the player and the club to part ways and Brazilian side Corinthians are linked with his services.
“We’re looking forward to making this happen. For me it’s very important to help as much as possible,” Joorabchian told Globo Esporte, as he attempts to negotiate an exit with club chief Edu.
A deal remains someway off according to reports with Corinthians seeing any move as ‘hard, but not impossible’.

Arsenal would need to loan him to the Brazilian side and continue paying a bulk of his current salary.
Willian’s potential suitors would be unable to pay even half of his current wages.
Last term the 33-year-old only scored once in 37 outings last term as the Gunners struggled for large periods.
Willian confessed back in April that he had faced some very difficult moments during his time in north London.
He said: “And when you don’t play well, you are the worst player in the world! This is football. I’ve come into a new philosophy, a new club and I think it has taken time [for me] to adapt.

“It wasn’t because I don’t want to play, I don’t want to be good for Arsenal as some people have said.
“I always want to play well, I always want to win, if it’s possible to score to do assists for my team-mates but sometimes you have difficult moments and I’ve been in that difficult moment.”
The winger is yet to feature in Arsenal’s two games thus far.
Arteta confessed earlier this month that Willian’s move from Chelsea had not gone as planned and he was open to his exit.
He said: “Yeah, I think anybody would agree. I think the expectations when we made the decision together to bring him to the football club, what he wanted to do coming here has not been fulfilled.
“It’s true that the context has not been the best for him. It’s been the most difficult year in football history for any football player.
“I think Willian is a player that needs to play happy, feel joy and feel the supporters and then express himself with the quality that he has.
“None of that has happened, the contrary as well. He found a difficult place for him and he’s not been comfortable with that and I think that’s why he’s struggled.”
