Wolves have posted a brutal TikTok video mocking Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka for his attempts to mark Adama Traore.
Spain winger Traore was at his unplayable best as Wolves beat the Gunners 2-1 at the Emirates last weekend, playing a key role in both of his side’s goals.
One midfielder who fell foul to Traore’s sublime dribbling was Xhaka, who was beaten on numerous occasions by mazing runs and deft footwork.
The result marked Arsenal’s third consecutive home defeat in the Premier League – while their misery has only been added to by a savage social media video posted by Wolves themselves.
The West Midlands club accompanied the post on TikTok with puerile music and the caption: “How NOT to mark Adama Traore.”
Spurs boast one of the finest dribblers in the league in Son Heung-min, but Gunners boss Mikel Arteta insists the fixture is the ideal one as his side aim to improve on 14th in the table.
“I think it’s the perfect game to get a lift, regenerate some belief in the league because in the other competitions we have been really good but we need a big result,” Arteta told Sky Sports ahead of the North London derby.
“I cannot think about any better scenario than that, to go and beat them and change things dramatically in one game.”
He added: “Obviously there is a difference now between the teams in terms of points, we know the game that we are expecting.
“They are in good form at the moment, they have been getting really good results and I see a team that is convinced of what they are doing. But we are going to go there to try and win the game.”
