Aldi in 30 minutes or less! Supermarket has launched on Deliveroo with more than 400 items available

- German discounter is now available on Deliveroo at 250 stores across the UK
- Comes after Sainsbury’s and Marks & Spencer both signed up to the app
Aldi has partnered with Deliveroo to offer customers a delivery service to their doorstep in 30 minutes or less.
The service also been made available at 129 of the budget German supermarket’s stores across the UK, including in London, Bristol, Liverpool and Brighton.
It adds to the 125 stores currently signed up to the service, with another four shops set to go live on the app in December, taking the total number of shops offering the service to more than 250 nationwide.
Customers within a 3.7mile radius of the participating stores will be able to choose from around 400 essential Aldi grocery items to be pick, packed and delivered in around 30 minutes.

Richard Thornton, Communications Director at Aldi UK, told FEMAIL: ‘We’re finding customers really value having more ways to shop at Aldi, particularly at the moment.
‘That’s why we’ve been keen to extend our trial with Deliveroo to stores in more new areas, and plan to launch our trial of click and collect in more than 200 additional stores between now and Christmas.
‘In the past month, we have made the Deliveroo service available in new areas such as Cardiff and Aberdeen, and will continue to monitor feedback of the service closely.’

Balham, Earls Court, Hackney, Camden and Central London
Manchester, Oxford, Birmingham, Brighton and Bristol.
Last week Aldi was named the cheapest supermarket by consumer group Which? for the fourth month running, where a basket of 32 items was found to be, on average, 30 per cent more expensive at the Big Four versus Aldi.
It comes after Sainsbury’s launched on both UberEats and Deliveroo.
The partnership launched in October in the Camden superstore in north London for Uber Eats and in Hammersmith, west London for Deliveroo and has since been rolled out to nine more stores across the UK.
Customers ordering from the app will have the groceries delivered within 25 minutes and will be able to chose from more than 1,000 Sainsbury’s own label and branded products including; Taste the Difference ready meals, fresh fruit and vegetables, Free-From products and store cupboard essentials.
In March, Marks & Spencer launched on the app to help those isolated during the coronavirus outbreak.
The partnership is run through 120 M&S franchise stores located at BP petrol stations across the UK.
Items available include milk, bread and juices, as well as easy meal options such as pizza and ready-prepared meals.
Customer favourites including the M&S 100 per cent orange juice, the 12′ Stone Baked Cheese & Tomato Pizza, their 4 Pint Semi Skimmed Milk, the Super Seed Loaf 800g, and their Chilli & Rice Meal are available.
