British children’s author behind Game Global social network for ‘pick-up artists’
A social network for ‘pick-up artists’ has been accused of normalising sexual violence against women and misogyny after some members were found boasting about rape.
A report by the Centre for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH) criticised the activities of the dating site Game Global, which was created by the children’s author Kieren Brown, after members were seen posting ‘field reports’ about ‘gaming’ women into sex.
Researchers, who identified more than 26,000 members across Game Global’s social media sites, also found a number of posts where members shared sexual images taken without consent and referred to acts of violent sexual assault.
A majority of the posts were shared on Facebook, Reddit and the messaging app Telegram.
Founded by children’s author Kieren Brown, 39, from Birmingham, who uses the alias Ciaran Callam, and his business partners, Joe Elvin, 33, and Alex ‘Ice’ White in 2018, Game Global claims to ‘help men better themselves and their dating lives.’

Game Global has 17 UK branches across the UK, including in London, Manchester, Liverpool and Bristol, and regularly shares advice with men about confidence-building exercises and relationships.
However CCDH researchers have now uncovered posts were members call women ‘b*****s’ and ‘w*****’ and share tips on how to ‘discipline’ women and ‘seal the deal’ with a virgin who has previously said no to sex.
In one post, seen by The Times, one member is seen joking about his experience with a woman and writes: ‘She had no idea what I was doing hahaha. Virgins are super flighty I’ve noticed. Unless they’re drunk hahaha.’
While another post, which was challenged by members of the group, reads: ‘Plz someone help. Got a girl’s number from a friend, meet her for a date then gone to her home. We try sex but she was crying like hell. I don’t know what I can do. She was stopping me.’
The CCDH, who said that some posts were challenged by members of Game Global but others were not, have now slammed social media sites for failing to remove ‘these dangerous groups’.
Imran Ahmed, CEO of the Center for Countering Digital Hate, slammed Facebook for leaving the group pages active.
He said: ‘By failing to act, social media companies are in effect aiding and abetting violent misogyny.
‘It is disgraceful that Facebook, having been told that this network exists on its platform, has failed to remove any of these dangerous groups, pages or the accounts of its ringleaders.
‘If Facebook continues to refuse to take down these sex offender schools, the government must force them to do so through its Online Safety Bill.’
Google has now removed the maps used by the network, the CCDH said.
Game Global, which was founded in 2018, has refuted the claims and said it is against rape and bans any members of the group who post messages about sexual violence towards women.
It has said the report was based on users who were banned and deleted by the group.

Videos shared on YouTube by Game Global give advice to men about confidence-building exercises and relationships
The dating site, which has 17 UK branches across the UK, offers tips to men about relationships
In a statement to The Times, Game Global said: ‘We teach men how to approach women in a manner which makes them happy and comfortable. That’s clear from all of our blog posts, podcasts and YouTube videos. It’s the guys with no ‘game’ who are most likely to creep women out.
‘There are 26,000+ people in our network. Of course, you’ll find a few hateful comments if you go looking for them. We do a good job of removing people who make these comments, but perhaps there is room for improvement.’
Mr Brown, who previously worked as a Web Content Manager and Copywriter, has spent the last four years working as a confidence coach for men.
His children’s book Preeta’s Web of Chaos, which follows a young girl named Preeta Patel as she encounters a series of terrifying obstacles that change her self image, was recently described as a ‘beautiful tale’ aimed at building self-esteem in girls.
The author is also the co-founder of The Web of Chaos Movement which aims to ‘help girls and ethnic minorities build real confidence’.
Describing his interest in writing about books for girls and ethnic minorities, Mr Brown writes: ‘So as well as my experience as a Web Content Manager and Copywriter, I’ve spent the last 4 years working as a confidence coach for lonely men who lack social skills.
‘It’s been massively rewarding and I’ve changed thousands of lives, but I started to ask myself why I was only helping men.
Game Global said it is against rape and bans any members of the group who post messages about sexual violence
‘The more I looked around, the more this question plagued my mind, and the more I saw that everyone was struggling.
‘Girls, women, ethnic minorities, basically anyone who’s human seemed to be dealing with their own issues of self worth. I couldn’t shake this gnawing realisation that these fears and insecurities aren’t specific to guys at all but to all of us.
‘Where women, girls, & ethnic minorities are concerned, I did see people out there doing what they could to help; but I also found myself asking ”Why can’t I help too?” Then, by a random act of the universe, I had a pretty illuminating conversation with my mom one day which gave me the spark of an idea.’
On Game Global’s website, Mr Brown, who uses the alias Ciaran Callam, is described as specialising in men who are ‘lacking confidence and don’t know how to meet women’.
A short biography reads: ‘What Ciaran specialises in is taking men who are lacking confidence and don’t know how to meet women, and giving them the sexual abundance they didn’t think was possible for them.
‘If that sounds like a big claim, that’s because it is, but it’s also very true. He’s been in this industry for almost two decades now and has built himself up from a shy, introverted and awkward teenager who couldn’t get girls to save his life to a man who attracts high quality women effortlessly.
‘If you don’t like the man you see in the mirror and want someone to show you how to become someone you can be proud of then get in touch with him asap.’
Meanwhile a biography for Mr White reads: ‘Ice is the mastermind behind the Game Cities and connecting everyone around the world.
‘He has worked with and interviewed many of the best coaches in the world and over most of his life learned to climb ranks fast and get into high positions as a natural emerging leader and ENTJ.
‘He is the father figure of Message Game and leads its movement, and is a reformer of the ”PUA community”.’
