Engagement video shows overexcited bride-to-be tackle fiancé TWICE after he gets on one knee

A video posted to social media captured the moment a perfect marriage proposal in snow-covered Lake Tahoe suddenly went awry, when an overzealous bride-to-be knocked her fiancé down multiple times after he got down on one knee.

The adorable clip has already amassed more than 10million views on TikTok, where it was posted earlier this month by the woman, who goes by the username mamscarterrr

Just under a minute long, the clip begins with the woman setting up a camera to take a picture with her boyfriend – seemingly unaware of his intent to propose.

The vantage point achieved by the quick-thinking woman – who in posts said she met her fiancé through a dating app – offered not only a view of the proposal that would ensue, but of the scenic, snow-capped Sierra Nevadas in the background.

Once in place, the pair set forth with the proposal, with the man dropping to one knee on the still icy shores of the freshwater lake, which straddles the border of both California and Nevada.

At this point, the woman becomes visibly jubilated, jumping up in joy several times – before hurling herself into her unsuspecting, eventual husband’s arms.

The display of affection, while heart-warming, saw the doting man unceremoniously unseated, losing his footing as he struggles to catch his excited spouse in the slippery terrain.

The couple are then filmed falling to the floor, still in a warm embrace despite the cold conditions.

Overcome with emotion, the pair proceed to roll around in the snow for a moment – before the woman again jumps to her feet and tackles her partner.

The footage, however, was filmed on the shores of Lake Tahoe, a popular tourist destination for residents of The Golden State about three hours away.

But as cities such as San Francisco were hit with abnormal amounts of rain brought by storms that besieged the region, the lake was overrun with several feet of snow, likely contributing to the couple’s now widely seen spills.
