Everything you missed on Love Island episode 50

With a week to go until the winners are crowned, Monday night’s episode bought out both the worst and best in the remaining Islanders.
The return of the show’s infamous talent show unearthed the stars’ hidden skills, including Casey’s questionable trumpet playing.
But earlier in the episode attention was on Ron Hall and Samie Elishi as they faced off over Ron’s game playing comments on Sunday night.
The fall out from the comments left Ron’s girlfriend Lana Jenkins in tears and the girls rallying around to spoil her with breakfast.
But as the finale nears, who’s in it to win in by any means possible? Here’s everything you missed in episode 50.
Standing strong: Love Island fans came out in support of Ron Hall, 25, on Monday after he confronted Samie Elishi, 22, following his remarks about show contestants having a game plan

On Sunday, financial advisor Ron, 25, told some of his fellow Islanders how, having watched the show, hopeful winners got their ‘drama’ out the way earlier on in the series before sailing through to the final.
After some people interpreted Ron as saying this was his personal game plan, his comments were discussed at length by villa residents.
On Monday, Ron took Samie, 22, aside as he felt she’d misunderstood what he’d said before passing his remarks to the others, with viewers claiming the show stars had ‘twisted’ his words.
And series devotees took to Twitter this week to show their support for Ron as they accused the Islanders of ‘bullying’ him.
One person wrote: ‘Ngl this is starting to feel like bullying towards Ron.’
Someone else posted: ‘This villa is so horrible I feel so sorry for Ron,’ while someone else shared: ‘Quite ridiculous how they’re all ganging up on Ron.’

Another person posted: ‘I’ll even vote Ron and Lana because I can’t support bullying, Samie to Ofcom.’
While someone else shared: ‘Need to get Ron & Lana into the final to crush everyone ganging up on them, they can have 2nd place. Kai and Sanam 1st place.’
Another sympathetic viewer wrote: ‘I want to cuddle Ron he’s defo a people pleaser,’ while someone else shared: ‘Low-key feel very bad for Ron.’
‘They need to shut up n leave Ron alone,’ protested another viewer.
However, suspicious of Ron, another viewer posted: ‘If you’ve not got a game plan then why you so rattled Ron?’
Fans have blasted the girls for making Lana breakfast to cheer her up after they talked about Ron behind his back.
Lana had dissolved into tears in Monday’s episode after feeling like the rest of the girls weren’t supporting her.
She got upset after the villa was found out to be talking about her and Ron’s relationship and accusing him of having a game plan.
To cheer her up, Samie decided to throw Lana a girlie breakfast with all the girls and say how much they loved her.
While Lana cried over the sweet gesture and called the girls her ‘sisters’, viewers at home were not so convinced.

They pointed out that it had been Samie that had been talking about Ron in the first place, and accused the villa of being ‘fake’.
One said: ‘THIS GOTTA BE THE FAKEST SEASON YET #loveIsland’.
While another tweeted: ‘These girls (especially Samie) are making Lana breakfast as if they didn’t spend an entire day slagging off her and Ron (mostly Ron but still)’.
A third quipped: ‘i’m sorry we chatted s**t about your relationship here’s some muffins’.
A fourth echoed: ‘After you lied and b****ed about me now you want to make breakfast??? So you’ve basically poisoned me???’
Viewers were in fits of giggles as they watched Casey O’Gorman play the trumpet during the series talent show during Monday’s episode.
The recruitment consultant, 26, was seen wearing a black dinner suit and a gold bow tie as he took his place centre stage in front of his fellow Islanders.
He held the brass instrument up to his mouth and proceeded to play a version of Happy Birthday.
However, his efforts left a lot to be desired with the other villa residents as plowed through his pitchy performance, with the show stars falling about with tears of laughter.
Taking to Twitter, viewers compared the moment to last year’s talent show when Indiyah Polack, 23, put on a rather dodgy performance of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star on the recorder.
