GP whose appearance on GB News included message from woman says he’s reported hackers to police

A vaccine-sceptic doctor whose tape of a TV interview appeared to be interrupted by an X-rated WhatsApp message from a contact called ‘Suzie Sub’, has broken his silence to say: ‘I’ve never met anyone like Suzie’.

Dr Samuel White uploaded a recording of his GB News interview to his website but was shocked when the clip went viral after the raunchy message flashed up with: ‘As you rest just give a thought to using me for your pleasure. Having me on my knees doing whatever you say… xxx’.

But as the clip was reposted countless times on Twitter, Dr White shut down his website, saying he had been hacked.

He joked to MailOnline: ‘I think I’ve lived a very sheltered life as I’ve never met anyone like Susie.’

He said that his IT organiser, his publicist and lawyer had all viewed the clip before it was uploaded without any offending material, but that hackers subsequently accessed his website to post the fake message to appear as if it had flashed up on his phone screen.

The GP also insisted he is not anti-vaccine, despite receiving ‘strange’ messages from hackers trying to ‘incriminate’ him.

Vaccine sceptic doctor Samuel White, who put a recording of his GB News interview on his website, mistakenly revealed a WhatsApp message from ‘Suzie Sub’ – prompting ridicule online

Dr Samuel spoke to presenter Patrick Christys on Sunday after a judge ruled last week that a tribunal had made an ‘error of law’ when it ordered the GP to stop discussing Covid on social media after he had been accused of spreading misinformation.

The clip of the interview, where Dr White appeared remotely alongside broadcaster Jon Gaunt, was then uploaded onto his website.

Mr Gaunt reposted the clip onto his own social media account and said: ‘Oh dear someone forgot to turn their WhatsApp off! This is very funny.’

But Dr White told MailOnline he had now reported the matter to the police.

He said: ‘It was uploaded first thing in the morning. Just before lunchtime I started to get messages asking me what was going on. I think I’ve lived a very sheltered life as I’ve never met anyone like Susie.’

He said the hack was not the first time he had received strange messages from strangers.

‘I’ve been getting messages via WhatsApp trying to get me to incriminate myself,’ he said.

‘They always call me Dr Sam and they’ll say things like, “I have a two year old baby and I’m really worried about giving them the vaccines” — standard childhood vaccines, wanting me to come out and say I’m anti vaccines, which I’m not.

‘I’ve had about 15 of those messages, then yesterday I had a voicemail asking a similar sort of thing.

He had apparently failed to notice that, while recording the clip, he received a message to his phone, apparently from a woman, which read: 'As you rest just give a thought to using me for your pleasure. Having me on my knees doing whatever you say... xxx'. Above: Dr White on the programme with fellow guest Jon Gaunt

‘Michael Bailey, my IT guy, had to take my website down yesterday to fix it.

‘He said the original video he’d uploaded was removed and they’d got into the back end of my website which we’ve now uncoupled from my google account.

‘We’ve got the full show from GBNews which shows there was no message and we are trying to find the IP address of the hacker and we’re instigating a forensic analysis of my website.

I’ve also reported it to the police and have a crime reference number.’

This evening, his site was accessible again but the embarrassing clip has now been removed.

One person who noticed the clip on Twitter joked: ‘Dr Sam White uploaded this video to his website but in his over-eagerness to get his ‘message’ out, he obviously didn’t watch it back first.

‘Unlucky Sam, unlucky.’

Another joked: ‘I’d like to hear what Suzie Sub thinks about all this. Apparently Dr Sam White is a fan.’

A third added: ‘Maybe Dr Sam has an important message about wearing masks?’

Dr White, who had been a partner at a surgery in Hampshire, had been ordered to stop discussing coronavirus on social media after he has expressed concerns about vaccines and claimed in a video he posted online in June that ‘masks do nothing’.

The General Medical Council’s Interim Orders Tribunal then imposed restrictions on Dr White’s registration as a GP as a result.

However, in the new ruling, the High Court said this decision was ‘wrong’ under human rights law.

It noted how Dr White had claimed that ‘lies’ around the response of the NHS and the Government towards coronavirus were ‘so vast’ that he could no longer ‘stomach or tolerate’ them.

Dr White's fellow guest on GB News, broadcaster Jon Gaunt, has since reposted the clip onto his own social media account. He said: 'Oh dear someone forgot to turn their WhatsApp off! This is very funny'

Twitter users ridiculed Dr White after the apparent mishap involving the message from ‘Suzie Sub’

The tribunal then concluded that Dr White’s sharing of his views ‘may have a real impact on patient safety’

But judge Mr Justice Dove said that, under provisions in the Human Rights Act 1998, the tribunal had failed to subject itself to the tests required under the act.

This meant they needed to show that the GMC would ‘would probably succeed at any subsequent tribunal hearing in imposing the restrictions which were now sought’.

However, Mr Justice Dove said it was ‘clear’ that the tribunal had not done this and concluded there had been an ‘error or law and a clear misdirection’, meaning the decision was ‘clearly wrong and cannot stand’.
