Jack Grealish and Ross Barkley face stern questions after allegedly breaking their strict coronavirus rules by partying in London on Saturday.
According to The Sun, the pair were caught on film at the Bagatelle restaurant in Mayfair along with a number of other people.
It was Barkley’s 27th birthday celebration, and he was joined by Grealish and others as witnesses are said to have seen them ‘drinking champagne, vodka, and beer from around 3pm.’

According to The Sun, a witness at the restaurant said: ‘You wouldn’t have thought there was a global health pandemic going on. They were arrogantly partying without a care. Staff wore masks but Grealish and Barkley didn’t.’
One video supposedly shows Barkley having an argument with someone, while another reportedly shows him hugging other people at the restaurant.
Grealish is also said to have been filmed dancing and talking to two women at a table.

London is currently in Tier 2 of lockdown, so you can’t socialise with people you don’t live with
London is currently in Tier 2 of the Government’s coronavirus guidelines, which prevents you from socialising with anyone you do not live with, or who is not in your support bubble, in any indoor setting.
As Aston Villa spokesperson reportedly said: ‘Having reviewed footage forwarded to us on Saturday, it appears as though two of our players who live in Tier 2 areas of the country were eating in a restaurant in a tier 2 location on Saturday afternoon during a weekend off. They left the restaurant at 7.45pm.’
Sportsmail has contacted Barkley’s agency Wasserman for comment.

It’s not the first time Jack Grealish has been in trouble regarding coronavirus regulations.
Back in March, he issued an apology after admitting he had partied at an ex-team-mate’s flat in the middle of the first lockdown.
The Aston Villa man then crashed his Range Rover early in the morning, the day after he had urged his social media followers to stay at home during the pandemic.

Later in the year, Grealish said: ‘I know I am a footballer but I’m still human and we all make mistakes and straight away I knew I’d made a mistake.
‘I’m also a role model as well to a lot of people out there, especially young children who might look up to me.’
Questions will now be raised over their role in the England team, after Phil Foden and Mason Greenwood were cast out of the squad by Gareth Southgate for several games when they broke lockdown rules in Iceland in September.
Aston Villa were set to face Newcastle United in the Premier League on Friday, but the game was called off after a number of positive tests at St James’ Park.
