Moment woman is hit by a car and sent flying into the air while under the bonnet of her vehicle – but miraculously cheats death

Shocking video shows the moment a woman is flung into the air after she is hit by a car outside her London home.
Footage shows the victim working underneath the bonnet of her silver hatchback when the vehicle crashed into her at speed, throwing her around 16ft along the pavement.
A dark coloured saloon left the road and mounted the pavement before hitting the woman from the side. It then smashed through a garden well before hitting a car on the driveway in Edgware.
The horror crash was witnessed by two people waiting at the nearby bus stop, who ran over to help the woman.
The woman was rushed to hospital where her condition was assessed as not life-threatening.
The London Ambulance Service told MailOnline the woman was ‘treated for a minor head injury and bruising’ and was taken to hospital.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: ‘Police were called at approximately 1:45pm on Sunday, 26 March to reports of a road traffic collision in Mollison Way, Edgware.
‘A car left the road and collided with two parked vehicles.

‘London Ambulance Service attended and one woman who was standing next to a parked vehicle was taken to hospital for treatment. Her condition is not life threatening.
‘The driver of the car remained at the scene and was spoken to by police. He was not arrested.
‘Enquiries into the circumstances continue.’
