Mother is charged over son’s murder: Woman, 34, and man, 37, face court over death of 15-year-old boy at house in Huddersfield

A 15-year-old boy has been killed at his home and his mother and a 37-year-old man have been accused of murder.
Sebastian Kalinowski was originally from Poland and was only in England for a short amount of time before he was found unconscious by paramedics at the property in Leeds Road, Huddersfield, on Friday.
Examination showed he had a number of physical injuries and the teenager died at the scene despite attempts to resuscitate him, Yorkshire Live reports.

Andrezej Latoszewski, 37, and Agnieszka Kalinowska, 34, are also residents at the Huddersfield address and have been charged with murder.
They appeared at Leeds Magistrates’ Court today.
West Yorkshire Police confirmed the woman charged is the boy’s mother.
Latoszewski is to appear before Leeds Crown Court on Wednesday and has been remanded.
West Yorkshire Police’s Homicide and Major Enquiry Team are keen to build a picture of Sebastian who had been in the UK for a limited amount of time, spoke limited English and had few social contacts.
People are urged to come forward with information if they knew the schoolboy.
Detective Chief Inspector Tony Nicholson, of the Homicide and Major Enquiry Team, said: ‘We are continuing to develop a number of enquiries into the death of Sebastian and this is very much a murder investigation.
‘As a man and woman have been charged, we are limited in what we can say to ensure the integrity of the court process, but I am very much appealing for information about Sebastian to help us build a picture of him, his movements and lifestyle.

‘We are in contact with his family in Poland and know he had only been in England for a short amount of time and spoke limited English.
‘He was enrolled at North Huddersfield Trust School at Fartown and I would appreciate information from anyone who perhaps knew him at school and can tell us more about him.
