A nutritionist has shared her simple recipe for Nutella flavoured cookies, and the entire dessert will take you just four minutes to make.

Ange, from The Healthy Diary, said her cookie recipe is ‘next level, huge and delicious’, and she has made it her ‘new go-to sweet treat’.

To make the cookie, you just need banana, Nutella, rice or oat flour and chopped hazelnuts.

‘I’m using my base recipe with a twist. It has four ingredients, it’s gluten free, egg-free and dairy-free,’ Ange said.

Simply set aside half a banana, a tablespoon of Nutella spread (around 20 grams), three tablespoons of rice or oat flour and five grams of chopped hazelnuts.  

Mash the banana in a bowl with the Nutella and flour.

Then roll it into a ball shape, before flattening it out so that it looks like a cookie.

How to make the two-minute Nutella cookie 

INGREDIENTS

Half a banana

Tablespoon of Nutella spread (around 20 grams)

Three tablespoons of rice or oat flour

Five grams of chopped hazelnuts

METHOD

1. Mash the half banana into a bowl with a tablespoon of Nutella.

2. Add your three tablespoons of rice or oat flour and bash together vigorously to combine the ingredients. 

3. Roll the cookie dough mix into a ball in your hands and then flatten it into a cookie shape on a piece of baking paper.

4. Add the chopped hazelnuts to the top of the cookie and put it in the microwave for 90 seconds.

5. Enjoy hot.
