Police launch frantic search for missing 11-year-old boy who got separated from his mother outside Poundland store


Police have launched a frantic search for an 11-year-old boy who got separated from his mother outside a Poundland store.

The boy, called Ibrahim, was last seen in Crown Close, Hayes at around 4.20pm on Monday, 2 September.

Metropolitan Police said he walked away from his mother near to the junction with Station Road.

It is understood Ibrahim caught a H98 bus to Hounslow West Underground Station and travelled into London, possibly on the Piccadilly Line. 

Police believe he may have been in the Pimlico area between 2.15am and 2.50am on Tuesday morning. 

Now, officers have appealed for help in locating Ibrahim who was last seen wearing a red t-shirt, dark blue shorts and dark trainers.

He is thought to have been in the Canada Water, Westminster and Pimlico areas, but is likely to be travelling around London using public transport. 

Police said: ‘Ibrahim is not in any trouble with the police or parents just needs the community to help locate them ASAP’.

Acting Detective Inspector Mike Llewellyn said: ‘I am grateful for the support of the public in sharing our appeal. 

‘Ibrahim is not in any trouble. We just want to ensure that he is safely returned to his family. I urge anyone who may have seen him to contact police.’
