Telegraph Fantasy Football: most selected players after Game Week 3

Telegraph Fantasy Football: most selected players

As Telegraph Fantasy Football managers have now had 3 full game weeks to adjust their XIs during the new season, it offers another chance to take stock of the most popular players in the player list and assess the themes and trends forming up and down the pitch.

Looking at the front line, after being toppled for the top spot this season Erling Haaland is closing the difference in popularity with his good start to the campaign and could soon overtake Cole Palmer. Fellow forward Alexander Isak has also seen his rank jump with a solid start, whilst Ollie Watkins has dropped markedly down the list. Mo Salah is new to the top 10 and it wouldn’t be surprising to see his stocks rise even further as the season goes on.

In midfield the dominance of English talent continues. Behind Cole Palmer in 1st place, Anthony Gordon, Bukayo Saka and Eberichi Eze all improved their position in the top 10 during the first 3 weeks.

At the back, the Arsenal duo of William Saliba and Ben White seem to have benefited the most during the first three game weeks as they opened their accounts with two routine clean sheets.

To find the most up-to-date numbers you can see the full Telegraph Fantasy Football player list in the Stats Centre.
