Woman reveals how she lost 2st and can fit into a smaller pair of jeans by going to the gym and eating whatever she fancies – including burgers, deserts and curries – within her daily calorie allowance

A woman has achieved her goal of fitting into a smaller pair of jeans after her personal trainer encouraged her to eat more.
She began personal training with her friend Ciara last June, after trying schemes like Slimming World and Weight Watchers but not having any luck.

Meghan was shocked when Ciara explained how calorie intake works and said she couldn’t believe how much she was asked to eat, even though she wanted to lose weight.
She told Dublin Live: ‘I’ve always been quite big my whole life, but it just started to pile on. I went to Ciara in June and she explained calorie intake, and I couldn’t believe how much food she was asking me to eat.
‘I thought that there was no way I could lose weight eating four meals a day, and snacks as well.
On Twitter she showed off her incredible weight loss transformation after months of hard work shedding the pounds she gained during last year’s lockdown (left last August and right last November)

‘Me and my friends do get a pizza or a garlic cheese chip from the chipper. I can eat what I want, once it’s in moderation and once I know the basics of calorie counting.
‘I haven’t been on a crazy diet, I’ve been getting my steps, going to the gym when it was open, and then just eating what I wanted.’
Sharing four pictures on her Twitter account, Meghan proudly revealed her progress and incredible body transformation.
She wrote: ‘Okay I am S***ING doing this and never thought I’d be able to post something like this but these jeans were my goal to fit into.
‘I had a bad weekend with my body image and tried them on again yesterday and I am just delighted with myself. Months of hard work are paying off!’

Meghan started to struggle with her weight after suffering with depression and anxiety two years ago which lead her to start binge eating.
She has also admitted to bingeing on McDonald’s and hiding the wrappers as well as calling in sick to work when she was struggling mentally.
She then went and spoke to her doctor who decided that it was best for her to do something different in her life and start using a personal trainer.
So far Meghan has lost two stone but her goal is to lose five or six and she has ‘never felt better’.
She has now made an Instagram page called CaloriesDunneFun, where she shares her food and exercise journey with fans.
