Chelsea and Fulham fans face travel chaos with train strike on day of London derby



Members of Aslef will walk out for 24 hours on Wednesday, February 1 and Friday, February 3 after union bosses rejected a pay offer from rail companies.

Chelsea host Fulham on Friday, February 3 and the industrial action could cause disruption to fans travelling into London for the game. The tube network will not be affected.

Train strikes have already caused disruption for football fans this season, with Chelsea fans impacted for their home game against Manchester City earlier this month.

The companies affected by the latest strikes include Avanti West Coast, Chiltern Railways, CrossCountry, East Midlands Railway, Great Western Railway; Greater Anglia, GTR Great Northern Thameslink, London North Eastern Railway;, Northern Trains, Southeastern, Southern/Gatwick Express, South Western Railway (depot drivers only), SWR Island Line, TransPennine Express, and West Midlands Trains.
