At least one dead in shooting at an Orlando citizenship and immigration office: Suspect is in custody

At least one person has been killed in a shooting at an Orlando USCIS office on Monday morning. 

The suspect has not been identified but is in custody. The shooting happened at the USCIS (US Citizenship and Immigration Services) office at 10.15am. 

It remains unclear if the shooter was male or female, or what their motive was. The victim’s identity has not been released. 

Orlando Police Department tweeted at 11.35am: ‘We can confirm that a suspect in this investigation is now in OPD’s custody. 

‘We will continue to provide you with more information as it becomes available.’ 

The office sits in a complex of other businesses off the highway.
