Billy Graham’s pastor grandson denies urinating on plane passenger

Billy Graham’s evangelist grandson has denied he is the man who urinated on a woman during a red eye flight from Las Vegas to Detroit earlier this month.  

In a statement posted to Twitter on Monday, Will Graham attempted to shut down rumors he was behind the shocking act amid whispers a ‘famous North Caolina pastor’ was the perpetrator. 

‘For some reason people who don’t know me have accused me of inappropriate actions on a flight from Las Vegas to Detroit on Octover 12 -13,’ he wrote. 

‘I was with colleagues and my family morning, noon and night. I was not on a plane, pure and simple, and I certainly wasn’t involved in the sort of thing they’re suggesting.’

Alicia Beverly, 28,  was traveling on the Delta red eye flight on October 12 – 13, when the bizarre incidewnt is alleged to have occurred. 

Bevery says she was sleeping next to her sister on the plane when she suddenly felt a warm liquid splashing on her. 

‘I jump up and I seen his private area out and I screamed and that woke everybody up,’ Beverly explained to Fox 2. 

‘By that time I actually looked at him and I see him shake himself off and I’m like this man just peed on me! I looked and there was a puddle of pee in the seats!’

Beverly immediately got up and screamed, waking up everyone on the plane, including an off-duty officer who came and restrained the man. 

The perpetrator is said to have had a reaction to a sleep aid, according to sources familiar with the incident.  

‘He didn’t say anything the whole time he was standing there,’ Beverly shared. 

The woman had to sit in her wet clothes for several hours before landing at Detroit Metro Airport. 

The man was taken into custody, but no charges have yet been filed.  

 Beverly has been left with severe anxiety, getting overcome with emotions as she talks about the impact of the incident.

‘I left work yesterday because I couldn’t stay but I had to tell them why I needed to leave. It was a lot. My anxiety was really high literally. Since then I have only gotten 4 hours of sleep,’ she said. 

Will Graham, 45,  is the grandson of famed televangelist Billy Graham, known as one of the most famous Christian figures of the 20th Century.  Will’s father is pasor Franklin Graham. 

Will also followed his family into ministry, and is an evangelist Billy Graham Evangelistic Association in Charlotte, North Carolina. 

Heis also the executive director of the Billy Graham Training Center at The Cove in Asheville.
