Comedian Bill Burr brands Republicans ‘f**king idiots’ on abortion then bashes woke left nonsense

Comedian Bill Burr launched has a blistering diatribe against anti-abortion conservatives and woke left-wingers who think men can get pregnant.

Taking aim at snowballing abortion bans across GOP-led states, Burr said: ‘These f*****g idiots on the Right, Jesus Christ!

‘Who gives a sh*t if you think it’s the taking of a life?,’ Burr said to his nearly seven million listeners on his popular comedy podcast, Monday Morning Podcast.

‘How much harder does the world have to get? There’s seven billion of us! By all means. Don’t bring anymore here. I understand. If you think it’s killing a baby, you know what I mean? I get it. ‘How do you know that baby’s gonna be a good person? You ever think of that over there?’

During the Thursday, podcast Burr also made it a point to bash the increasingly-unhinged views of some left-wingers on gender-identity.

‘What do you mean men can get pregnant? What the f**k are they talking about?’ Burr asked referencing an article he found on the topic after a quick Google search. ‘As a lefty, I don’t understand.’

Then, he added: ‘Well, you know what? It’s the extreme left. You know what I mean?’  ‘A man cannot get pregnant. We’re not born with a womb over there. Unless, I will tell you this, in the future, that’s gonna happen.’

He made it a point to add during the 30-minute podcast what else was on his mind: ‘I don’t give a sh*t about any of that stuff, as far as telling you what the f**k to do, all right? Someone shouldn’t tell you to get a goddamn, I don’t know what, prostate exam or to wear a mask, whatever your f***g cause is.’

Burr has been given plenty of comedy material by recent proclamations from both conservatives and progressives.

During Wednesday's judiciary hearing committee, North Carolina Republican Dan Bishop asked Aimee Arrambide, executive director of the abortion rights nonprofit Avow Texas what to define what 'a woman is.' She responded, ' I believe that everyone can identify for themselves.' Then, when he asked: ' Do you believe men can become pregnant and have abortions?" She responded, 'Yes,' as she nodded her head

A day before Burr’s podcast episode, North Carolina Republican Dan Bishop asked abortion activist Aimee Arrambide, executive director of the abortion right nonprofit Avow Texas, what ‘a woman is.’

I believe that everyone can identify for themselves,’ Arrambide responded during a House committee hearing on abortion.

Then, when he asked:‘ Do you believe men can become pregnant and have abortions?’

‘Yes,’ she said, as she nodded her head.

In April, during testifying before a committee about her legislation Republican Ohio lawmaker Jean Schmidt called pregnancies from rape an 'opportunity' for victims. 'It is a shame that it happens, but there's an opportunity for that woman, no matter how young or old she is, to make a determination about what she's going to do to help that life be a productive human being,' she said

Over on the other side of the aisle, Republican Ohio lawmaker Jean Schmidt sparked outrage with remarks during a debate about abortion in her state.

She suggested women and girls who get pregnant through rape should see it as an opportunity instead of seeking out terminations.

Conservative states have moved to tighten their abortion laws after a Supreme Court leak suggested Roe v Wade – which guarantees women the right to a legal abortion – is on the verge of being scrapped.

On Thursday, the Oklahoma House of Representatives passed a bill banning abortions at conception in a stunning vote of 73 to 16. It would be the most restrictive in the United States.

Republican Oklahoma State Representative Wendi Stearman introduced the latest bill, and Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt has already indicated that he will sign the bill into a law.

Stearman suggested current federal abortion laws – which allow terminations up until the moment of birth and should be scrapped entirely.

She suggested it was no different to letting people kill children up until the age of 18.

House Bill 4327 would prohibit physicians from performing abortions at any point during a women’s pregnancy, except to save the pregnant woman’s life. Other exemptions include women, who are victims of rape, sexual assault or incest that has been reported to law enforcement.

The latest bill makes it a felony for physicians to perform abortions, and those who do may face a fine up to 10 years in prison and up to $100,000 in fines.

The law would also allow private citizens to file civil lawsuits up to $10,000 against anyone who performs an abortion.

The bill comes on the heels of a leaked draft opinion from the U.S. Supreme Court that suggests justices are considering weakening or overturning the landmark Roe v. Wade decision that legalized abortion nearly 50 years ago.

News of the bill sparked panic among women who feared they’d no longer be able to use popular methods of contraception including IUDs, or Plan B. .
