A pet owner has given their pet pooch a fur-ever friend made from his own coat.
Two-year-old Wolfie is a rescue dog who has been given a new companion made entirely out of his own fur.
His owner, Inge Gooskens, 32, spent three hours transforming Wolfie’s old hair into a miniature version of himself.

Inge, from Amsterdam, Holland, used a needle felting technique that involves poking wool with a sharp needle until it becomes firm – you can then make something out of it.
But on this occasion, the eco-friendly jewellery business owner used her terrier mix dogs fur.
She said: ‘Wolfie adores his new toy, we have named him Diddy.
‘He brings Diddy everywhere with him.

Inge said that Wolfie was so taken with his new friend – made from his own fur – that he takes it everywhere, and the mini dog has been named Diddy
‘It is adorable.
‘He is really gentle with him and treats him like a puppy.’
Inge had a lightbulb moment when she took Wolfie to the groomers.
She said: ‘I don’t like throwing things away, and it seemed like a nice keepsake to have a mini-Diddy forever.
‘My groomer thought I was crazy though, taking home a bag of fur.
Inge thought up the idea of creating Diddy for Wolfie after taking him to the pet groomers and bringing home a bag of her pet’s old fur
‘But I had just started needle felting and thought this would be a great experiment.
‘Previously, I used wool and poked it with a really sharp felt needle until it becomes firm and then you can create something out of it.
‘It was my second needle felt project ever actually!
‘It worked really well with Wolfie’s fur.
‘Everybody thinks I am crazy but then they also ask me if they can send me their dog’s fur so they can have their own mini-pet. ‘
