Donald Trump tweets demand to JAIL Georgia’s governor Brian Kemp and secretary of state

Hours after the Electoral College met to make President-elect Joe Biden‘s win official, President Donald Trump was reviving claims of election fraud and forwarding a call to jail Georgia officials who refused to heed his demands to overturn the vote.

Early Tuesday Trump tweeted an image of Georgia Republican Gov. Brian Kemp and Secretary of State Brad Rathensperger photo-shopped to be wearing masks with the flag of China on it.

Lawyer Lin Wood, who filed Trump-backing ‘Kraken’ lawsuits that have been hammered in court, tagged the two men and wrote that Trump gave them ‘every chance to get it right.’

‘They will soon be going to jail,’ he added, in the tweet the president retweeted.

Both Republican officials refused to go along with Trump’s demands to compare ballot signatures to envelopes long after the vote, a hand recount, and certification. Electoral College members met in Georgia and the other 49 states plus the District of Columbia to put forward Biden’s 306 to 232 win, which now heads to Congress, which will count the votes at a joint meeting January 6.

His attack came on a day Joe Biden heads to Georgia to back two Democrats in runoff elections that will determine control of the Senate.

Trump also continued to tweet conspiracy theories about voting machines flipping votes from Trump to Biden, even after the Supreme Court Friday refused to take up a case by the Texas attorney general to throw out the votes in four states Trump lost.

He revived claims of Michigan witness Mellissa Carone, who claimed the poll books were off by ‘probably’ 100,000 votes and got shushed by Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani when she sparred with Michigan lawmakers.

She was later revealed to be off probation after initially being charged with a computer crime, and has previously worked as a stripper. She spoke at a ‘stop the steal’ rally in Washington, D.C. on Saturday.

Trump retweeted a twitter user, thanking him by name, and writing: ‘Many Trump votes were routed to Biden. The highly respected Michigan Judge released this epic report. True all over the Country. This Fake Election can no longer stand. Get moving Republicans. Big Swing State Win! 75,000,000 VOTES.’

Twitter flagged the claim about election fraud as ‘disputed.’ In a prime time speech Monday night Biden noted that he got 81 million votes, more than 7 million that Trump’s 74 million votes.

‘Tremendous problems being found with voting machines. They are so far off it is ridiculous,’ Trump tweeted. ‘Able to take a landslide victory and reduce it to a tight loss. This is not what the USA is all about. Law enforcement shielding machines. DO NOT TAMPER, a crime. Much more to come!’

Turning to Michigan, a state he lost by thousands of votes, Trump wrote: ‘68% error rate in Michigan Voting Machines. Should be, by law, a tiny percentage of one percent. Did Michigan Secretary of State break the law? Stay tuned!’

Weeks after losing the election, President Donald Trump continues to rage at Fox News for not doing enough to get behind him, while promoting rival networks that pose a ratings challenge.

Trump continues to stew over the Fox News desk’s decision to call Arizona for President-elect Joe Biden. Although that result proved correct and the state has since certified its result, it undermined Trump’s plan of declaring victory on election night.

The president ‘wants to make them pay,’ Axios reported Wednesday.

He continues to promote conservative Trump loyalist networks that are challenging Fox. He has been telling people he speaks to that ‘people at the highest levels of Fox’ have reached out to his aides to try to repair the situation, according to the report, but but has no desire to do so.

That would appear to be the case from Trump’s blizzard of tweets either complaining about Fox or talking up its rivals, Newsmax and OAN, which have credulously reported his claims of election fraud, even as more than 50 judges tossed out election complaints.

Trump has used his platform to promote Newsmax anchor Greg Kelly, who landed an interview with Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani late last month that the president tweeted out.

Trump reportedly has brought up Kelly beating Fox News anchor Martha McCallum in a key demographic in prime time for a night last week.

He continues to focus on Fox personalities McCallum, anchor Bret Baier, and Chris Wallace. Wallace oversaw a critical interview with Trump where he dug into Trump’s boasts about acing a cognitive test. He also presided over the presidential debate in Cleveland, where he called out Trump for his repeated interruptions of Joe Biden.

Trump’s attacks on the network come as he continues to inveigh tweet out conspiracy theories about rigged voting machines and attack Republican officials who failed to heed his calls to overturn the vote.
